Southeast - Tour de Franklin (aka Halloween Hunnard)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
The season is winding down and, this event (http://tourdefranklin.blogspot.com/) has always been a good one to finish it off. It covers some great cycling roads in WNC including a couple nice climbs. Weather forecast is outstanding. If any one is riding this event, I'll be on a white Tarmac with a Smokey Mountain jersey.

Yes this is a great ride. I'm a summer resident of Franklin but will not be there for this ride unfortunately. I did paint the 62 mile route and it's a nice ride.

Are you coming over for the ride Brian? It's a nice ride on rural roads with a couple decent but not too long climbs. The longest climb is around 4 miles at 7% ave grade. The weather should be near perfect. You can tow me around the course!
