The guys at Schwinn are like:
"Hey, you know that guy Scrod?"
"Yeah."
"We should try to combine his last two bikes, everyone loved them."
"Dude totally!"
"Yeah man and red wheels!"
"Yeah this will make da huge profitz!"

the chainring is two colors and neither of which are the same as the crank. oddly, it does match the rims perfectly but i am not sure that is a good thing...

Surprisingly this is one of the most reasonably priced bikes that I can find in Japan. Most bikes domestic or imported are well overpriced. Japanese kids and foreigners here seem to go crazy over whatever is new whether it is crap or not and at whatever the price. The components aren't terrible just terrible looking but most of us would swap out the parts regardless anyway. I'm glad that they cleaned up the cockpit and seatpost from the previous years. Just wish they went the new Bianchi route, and finished with some cheap all silver alex branded rims with generic sealed silver hubs to silver spokes and one of the now many generic old style looking, knock off campy cranks/super mighty cranks.

WoundedKnee's comment wins (although Vixtor is also on the money).
That bike would look so incredible classy with silver or black components. Gold and red makes Ronnie McD mad.

I like my fire engine better, although I wouldn't mind having the silver stem and seat post. The silver goes better with the chromed fork blades and rear triangle.

Also it lacks the Cinelli parts the 2010 had.. as well as the regal saddle.. and it went up $70 in price.
