Today I rode north from my place. The road goes north and down along the Blue River.
At 11.5 miles I took a right on Ute Psss road.
Rode to the top of the pass and down the other side.
Planned to go to the 20 mile point, but it was getting colder so I turned aroud at 18.7 miles.
Back up and over. Had to go very slowly going down because the road was snowpacked in the shady spots. The bike went sideways for a bit at one spot.
I am finally starting to get back together after the six weeks of vertigo that lasted to the end of July. That was my first time up Ute Pass this year. Have never gone down the other side before.
Rode a 45 mile ride in August over Swan Mountain and then up Vail Pass, but I was in agony for too much of it.
Now I need to find a century to ride.

I love riding in that area, Ute Pass is a hidden gem. One of my favorite rides in that area is Kremmling, Gore Pass to Steamboat Springs for the night, then Rabbit Ears and back to Kremmling, so beautiful!!
