Anyone have a suggestion for good trainer DVDs? I'm looking for DVDs with more of an emphasis on VO2 max and lactate threshold training, rather than the low cadence, high gear muscular stuff. Thanks!
I have Angels, Fight Club, and Downward Spiral. $10.99 each. I'm completely spent by the time I'm done. They're great.

Thanks guys, is there a certain Sufferfest video you guys like? That stresses VO2 max and lactate threshold over heavy gear or endurance stuff?

How do the sufferfest videos look on larger TV screens? In the FAQ section the company says the resolution is best on 15 inch screens and smaller!
How is the resolution? — The videos are designed to look best on screens from 15” and below. If you go bigger than that, then the videos will start to look less sharp. I do have customers who use the videos on screens up to 44” and bigger and are quite happy, but just be aware that the quality won’t look as great.
Just wondering if it's a negligible amount of resolution loss. My TV will play various video formats off a thumb drive and access them through a menu so I'm looking at collecting trainer videos this year.

I've purchased 3 Sufferfest vids, and used ConvertXtoDVD to convert them to DVD format for my home TV. They look fine on a 27" TV.

Great, I'll have to give one a try. I'm attempting to get into my trainer more.

+ another 1 on sufferfest. I just did Angels earlier today (first time I'd done one of their videos). An hour on the trainer has never gone by so fast, and I felt like I was about to die by the end. If that's what you're looking for, it's great.

Can one of you guys explain how this works. On the FAQ's you see this question and in it it states "the race video then matches the work you’re doing" How is this done? Do you need some special equipment or software? I was planing on using it on a stationary spin bike but not sure how this would work.
"Is there a coach or something yelling at me what to do? – Nope. All of our instructions are on screen. You’ll know exactly how long you’re supposed to do something and at what intensity you need to do it. The race video then matches the work you’re doing (so if you’re doing an 8:00 climb, then you’re going to be following Andy Schleck up 8:00 of climbs during Liege-Bastogne- Liege, for example)."

Carmicheal dvds and spinnervals are good.
