Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. This afternoon I'm throwing together a bike for winter. I'm posting my progress to Facebook:

I made the album public. I'm thinking you should be able to see it without necessarily having to have a Facebook account.

no fenders?
I'm hoping the rear rack will be enough to protect my backside. I do have some fenders, but the Rockhopper frame isn't fender-friendly. I always end up having to cobble the fenders on, and I'm never happy w/the results.
I've taken note of the new, Surly Troll. Now there is a fender-friendly frame if I ever saw one. The Troll frame is perfect for the riding I do in winter. I don't have the money for one -- yet.

How much do those tires weigh? Holy crow that's a lot of metal.
