So Halloween evening finally arrived. Mortimer and I were psyched and ready to roll through-out the neighborhood.

6:00p.m.....it's 39* and raining hard. Screw it, were riding!

Through waves of Lake Effect Rain and Gropple we cruised the streets of our neighborhood. What a blast we had! Regardless of the weather, the streets were crowded with people young and old, and every one of them in good spirits.

We were asked to pose for pictures several times and all who we encountered exchanged friendly banter. Cars and trucks slowed down, honked, waved and cheered. The fanfare must have been for Mortimer as I ride these same streets daily with barely a wave.

All told, we rode 10.8 miles this evening. My bride tried her hand at Video recording.
This is what we got, complete with the director's audible instructions. (I've never tried this before..hope it works!)

EDIT 10/23/11: Here's a stati pic also. Notice how well Mortimer followed my instructions to keep his feet on the pedals at all times no mater what!!

Despite the the fanfare, poor Mortimer was chilled to the bone.
