Beautiful. I've wanted one since my friend found one at the flea market to resell (which he did quite easily; not to me anyway, it was too big).... probably someone's baby... :(

Someone on this forum once said only old people like Bob Jacksons.

That person was a total nerd.

I ordered direct from the Bob Jackson website. It is an off the peg frame, not a full custom. I definitely would have gone 853, arrowhead lugs IF: 1) I could justify the extra 300-400 and 2) i knew I would be waiting 6 weeks for a supposedly "Off the peg" frame they said they keep in stock

This is why I haven't been able to decide on a new steel bike. Every time someone posts a pic of
their new bike, I think, "That's the one I want!"

Very nice looking bike. Are they drilled for brakes?l

jameltoe
11-02-10, 05:09 PM
yea, the fork is drilled for brakes. If you want rear brakes, you can request that when you order

I really really really really want an 853 lugged track frame. like really.

Also, TT you need another bike like I need a hole in the head man. You're garage is almost full :p

Outlined lugs are just too good.

I didn't say I needed it or would even get one, just hypothesizing what I'd do IF I got one. Also, see my latest post in the storage thread and you'll see that I've indeed run out of proper bike storage space. Just properly maintaining and tweaking 17 bikes is a major chore.
