Has anybody else had a problem with the left-overs hanging around? I find the tiny portions make for convenient extra fuel

Mmmm..

Kids here in Australia don't do the trick or treating thing ... or if they do it is very limited. In fact, most Aussies don't celebrate halloween at all. So ... there is no leftover halloween candy in this house ... there was no halloween candy here to begin with.

I treat it like the garbage that it is and chuck it on the trash.

The secret is to buy candy that you don't like. Then you won't be tempted by the leftovers.

Millions of kids would be shocked in horror at such a sight. :D

No left overs where I live. We end up with a 'no more candy' sign on the door every year. 3lbs lasted all of 45 minutes in 2010....and we promptly got toilet papered before the crowds even scuttled home for the night.

No leftover candy, we had 260 kids come to the door.

All the "candy" we had was handed out. I only like pure, straight chocolate on occasion. Any of those other sweets just never taste good to me.

we didn't hand any out, but we picked a bunch up. A few pieces here and there isn't going to kill me. I'm still losing weight so....bring it on.

my theory is the best way not to eat candy is to eat it as quickly as possible so it's no longer available. The logic is flawed, but the taste buds are happy :)
