From what I've heard, the Shiver won't be brought to the US anymore...Too bad, I really like the fork and it has been bomb proof.

There actually is a rumour it isn't being brought over here. It isn't a rumour, this was from a marz rep actually. The shiver made them no money in the states. Sold very poorly.

Then they made another announcement saying that they WERE bringing it back.....trust me, I know whats goin on bro :D
The Dorado is a totally different fork. It needs matenince VERY often(shiver maybe an oil change every year, not even needed though)....its another 300+ for the Dorado, and the Dorado is a race fork. They ARE bringing the Shiver back for 05' they just wanted the public to show some sort of response....I have my sources :D

Might be different, but for racing there is no doubt which one is preferred.
Good for you bro, as of 3 weeks ago the rep was saying it wasn't being release in the states. Not that I care, I don't like them anyways. Just means they changed their minds.

Id rather run a Boxxer than a Dorado just because of weight/having to work on it so much. It's silly. I dont think im going to run an inverted though...I already put some good sized scratches in that crap DNM....

Well, I'm glad you know what's going on. I wasn't trying to give bad info, I was told by Marzocchi back in August that they had no plans to ship the Shiver to the states. Looks like that has changed, thanks for the info.

It would be interesting to run this by brian. That should make a lot of monkies happy seeing as how upset some of them got when we first found out it was coming to the states.

He a rep on ridemonkey who posts fairly often. I obviously have never met him but he keeps monkeytown pretty updated on life in marz world.
