LBS is $1050. MSRP.

REI is $1050 but you get 10% back for your dividend.

Everywhere else is list price. eBay is a bunch of 50cm Frankenstein jobs.

Anybody?

Buy just the frame and fork and build your own CC.

Can't get the whole thing completed for under $1000. I'm on a budget.

The complete bike is the cheapest and fastest way to get my fat butt on a Cross Check!

10/4, then I'd go with REI

Thanks Bro. That's what I'm thinking. Makes it a $950 bike - $1000 with tax.

Just don't know why they're MSRP everywhere!

I probably wouldn't do this..but, I imagine it would should work..2011 CC frame + (Bikesdirect/craigslist/ebay complete bike) - (Sell Frame on ebay/craigslist) = Full CC.

I'm not sure the bikesdirect route pans out any better than REI; to be honest..

Heh heh I was trying to figure that out too! I think he means to buy the CC frame and then a bikesdirect cheapo bike just for the components. Remove all the components, sell the bikesdirect cheapo frameset and whoila, you've got a complete CC.

To his credit he said he probably wouldn't do this! ;)
