Instead, some variation of the Classic Folsom Lake Loop. With a stop at Newcastle Deli for lunch. If you haven't been there, it's worth the detour!

Leaving from one of the parking lots across the street from Bikes Plus in Folsom at 8:30 am. Though I might ride up to the ride start. If I do, I'll be leaving home about 7:30.

This is a beautiful ride, and one of the classics in the area. Pace will be light too, figuring around 16 on the flats. Some great climbing and one of the best technical descents in the area. The ride down 49 from Cool is absolutely amazing!

I'm out. Doing Mix Canyon Saturday w/STC. I hope to be dead on Sunday. Though the deli is tempting...

Mix, huh? Haven't done that one. Mostly because the way down scares the bejeebers out of me. If my bike had disk brakes, I'd be much more inclined to give it a go.

Schedule change. Rolling from my place at 8:15, from Bikes Plus at 9:30. Plenty of time for anyone that wants to come along to get out here.
