We would appreciate any information about the vintage and value of this three speed trike. Only needs some tire repair and a shifter cable to be functional. The serial number on the heads tube is MR770785

Should be a four digit date code on the head badge, first three are the day of the year, last digit is the year. 3250 = 325th day of 1980 (or any other year ending with a zero). Schwinn dating on bikes of this era is the easiest of any brand. Google Schwinn serial number as there are a couple of good web sites dedicated to that. Appears to be December 1980, which would make it a 1981 bike.
Catalog page for the 1981 three wheeler:

Value? No idea, its really a niche bike. Got to find a buyer first. Shipping would be prohibitive.

What you have is a very well made and very sturdy 3 wheel adult bike. The tires are specific for Schwinn bikes only, probably being 26 X 1 3/8 S6 or 1 3/4. I have seen these advertised used in my area, Conn., for between $200 and $300, but it all depends on the condition of the bike and the demand for it. This is a very specific niche bike, usually for an older person or someone with a disability. Like wrk100 states, shipping would be insanely expensive-no easy way to box this unwieldy shape .

Looks pretty good. There are a lot of lovely " blue-haired chicks " down here in Fl., that ride these. I see them sell for $150+ -.
