Touring - Small Panniers

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I am looking for small good quality Panniers, for mostly day trips. 'would appreciate any suggestions.

I've been very happy with the small panniers I bought from Arkel -- http://www.bicyclebags.com -- which I use on the lowrider racks on one of my bikes or on the rear on the other with equally good results. I take them on and off and move them around a lot so I appreciate that they mount and dismount in seconds. I've had them about a year and a half and maybe 7000 miles, and they're good as new.

Carradice make some nice small panniers. My big ones have 5 years of daily riding including slides along the road. Vey tough and strong, but light and with modern click fittings

I've been happy with my Altura Jura panniers - I've only done 1500 odd miles with them but they're holding up well. They've carried pretty heavy loads, they've got R&K click-fixing and haven't let any water in yet (I'm not going to claim they're waterproof though :) ).

Ortelieb - In Europe they are really the ONLY company to get panniers from for the cousins across the pond here is the USA site address
