Classic & Vintage - bike-specific powdercoaters

You'd think that of all places, Austin would have one or two good places that could do bike-specific powdercoating. Unfortunately, most of the custom cycle shops (Willits, Moyer, even Sanner) are no longer open, so I'm left only general-item powdercoaters (who still charge $135 a job...)

Does anyone know of a good reputable shops that know how to powdercoat bikes (to preserve lug lining, etc) to whom I could ship my frame and fork? Extra points if it's in Texas, and if not, I guess I'll have to deal :P.

EDIT :: As a bit of background, it's an 80's frame that's got some flaking chrome and rust underneath. I'm going to OA it, but I figure since this is my primary workhorse, it could stand getting a durable, strong (and cheap? hopefully?) paintjob.

Not in Texas, but Groody Brothers (find them on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/GroodyBros?ref=ts) is in Kansas City (not that far, I suppose) and they do a fantastic job with powdercoating, and can work around chrome bits too. I am very pleased with the Peugeot they finished for me over the summer. I want to say that the powdercoating was about fifty bucks, the teardown around forty, the powder around twelve.

He did. I just checked the web site and it states, "We are no longer taking orders." Too bad, I had wanted to get a frame built by him when he was still in the SF/Bay Area - and before his prices went up. I didn't and they did.

Anybody know what kind of post-powdercoating work will need to be done? Will the threads need to be chased or anything?

I was actually looking for a place that specializes in bikes (doesn't HAVE to do only bikes but I hope they'd be known for their work on frames). I contacted Tim Sanner and another framebuilder in Austin, and both were of the opinion that most of the powdercoaters in town could do a bike, but they wouldn't do the job as as well as a powdercoater who specialized in bikes. Spectrum, on the other hand, specializes in bikes and looks amazing!

I'm not sure about these CL powdercoaters. I looked up some that popped up on different Texas CLs, but they all seemed to be general powdercoaters (industrial stuff, traffic signs, etc) that were trying to branch into bikes.
