I've got an old wheel with Campy Mirage 8-speed (circa 1996). The rim is wearing out with spokes beginning to pull through the rim in several places.
I've found an Aksium Race wheel (for Campy) on Craigslist. I'm wondering if the freehub body is compatible with the 8-speed cassette I currently have. I'm suspecting the "campy" hub on this wheel is only compatible with Campy 9+ speed cassettes.
I'm considering having a wheel rebuilt with my current campy hub so I can continue using this cassette (and remainder of the drivetrain).
