Today 2 cyclists, one in a Yahoo! kit on a Giant, one in a Williams kit on a black CF bike w/no decals, passed me as I was having a mini-pity party headed solo into wind. The were riding abreast and passed me with the usual niceties. As they pulled away the thought occurred to me that I could draft them. So I did -- for about 4 miles. They continued straight toward Hwy. 128 and I turned right onto Putah Creek Rd.

I don't know if they post here but I wanted to thank them for letting me draft them without complaint. You guys gave an old woman some hope and help, and it made the rest of the ride enjoyable.

Are you sure they weren't..."Ghostriders"? I hear there are a lot of them reported in your neck of the woods...

That's our normal route and we never have any problem cyclist drafting, because we do the same when we run into Davis Bike Club on Saturday morning. :)
