Try that :)
Please forgive my ignorance, but is Urban Cylclocross ACTUALLY run through city streets, alleys, and other kind of Urban landscape? Or are they just cyclocross races held in the city?
The title of this thread really made me curious, cuz I live in a large city (Toronto), and I'm unable to drive out anywhere to try a race, and the thought of a cross race through city sounded really cool, and really dangerous too! :)

I'm planning on going out for this one as well. It will be my first time and I'd very much like to know anything anyone could tell me about this particular race or series.
I'm guessing its not truly "urban" in the way you're suggesting. I don't think you'd want to run any sort of bike race through the back streets and alleys of Compton, where the first race is set. This one is more likely over a vacant manufacturing lot or the like. The immediate surroundings would meet anyone's definition of urban, though.
The other races in the series appear to be in urban or suburban parks -- one is described as being on a "cross country" (running?) course, another at a "lake", and the final one at a "regional park".
I'll try and give a report of my own impressions early next week and I'll let you know what the course was like.
