I'm aware the stock fork that comes with the Kilo has specs as follows:

Fork Rake: 44 mm
Axle to Crown Length: 345 mm
Crown Race: 26.4 mm

I am looking to install a threaded fork on my 53 Kilo and am curious of forks people have had success with. My research shows that one option is getting the stock fork threaded, but that seems like more hassle than it's worth. I have also found that people have success with the Spicer track fork, Bikeworks NYC generic track, Soma Lugged, and Surly track fork, among others.

My question then is would a more generic fork, like:

work fine with a 53cm Kilo TT? I just wonder how big of variation in size from the stock fork is ok?

So lugged is a better choice. Is that because they are stronger, less prone to damage?

as long as it's 1" it will work with the frame. if it will work with the headset is the question you mean to ask.

and the answer is probably yes.

lugged isn't a better choice, it just looks nicer.
and that's debatable

no - because going threaded over threaded is an aesthetic upgrade (to some) and in my opinion i would figure a lugged fork is more aesthetically pleasing than a

it's more than aesthetic when you go from a kilo fork to a cinelli unicrown lugged columbus steel fork. way more than aesthetic.

if you buy a threaded fork chances are youll need to extend the threading when you get the for cut to length. it's only a pain to thread the stock fork if you cut the starter threads they put on there at the factory off.

and my favorite threaded carbon fork is made by wound up.
