I can't tell whether this is a R or SR crank and on the inside of the arms is nog circle of diamant to date it ?

Also is a universal crankpuller ok to remove the crank or do i need a special campy one.

And the outergear is not original according to the owner, but wich one do i need (how to recognize one)

And how do i remove this bolt as on other cranks like shimi, etc i have this socket ? tool but it's too small for this one and i wonder if a standard one wouldn't be too big to fit between the threads.

Small problems i realize, but i can' t find the right answer.

Help please it's appreciated.

I've got an NR crank that looks exactly the same as that, if that's any use.

I used a shimano universal puller to remove it - didnt have any problems.

To remove the bolt, I got hold of a pipe wrench that fitted the bolt with room for the threads. The wrench
cost about €7/$10.

Ah, ok i understand.

I used this kind of tool the socket wrenches

I have to go tomorrow to my local hardware store to check it out wether it must be a tube or socket wrench.

Good to read that the puller should work fine too.

With regards to your crank i don't have the markers to see from which year the crank dates.
Does your crank has the circle of diamond on the back.

Mine's got a diamond with a 5 in it, so 1975, I believe.

I tried a socket wrench but it didn't fit, so you'll most likely be better off with a tube.

The crank arms of 'Nuovo Record' and 'Super Record' are identical. Only the rings are different. The rings shown here are of a super record style, however the outer one may be a replacement, possibly an Ofmega. Looking at the photo it almost looks like it is a nut with a threaded BB axle, but that is quite possibly just the style head of the crank bolt making it appear that way. In either case, it will be a metric sized head, I think a 15mm, and you'll probably need a thin walled socket.
