Hello fellow riders. I live in the small village of Bear Lake on Lake Michigan, I got back into biking in August, I haden't ridden a bike for 38 years. Took awhile to get the muscles back into shape. My present ride is a 2005 Trek 3700.

Bear Lake? Isn't that where they do the dune buggy rides? I grew up in Spring Lake, MI and we use to take family trips up there.

I beleive that the dune rides are at Silver Lake. I am about 100 miles north of there. 45 miles south of Traverse City.

I think your right. I remebered later that they were called Sleeping Bear Dunes. Hence the confusion.
