New member, used to swear by old raleigh road bikes. bumped into old schwinn traveler, a hair larger frame than I need, but commute with it, haul friday night dinner, pick up parcel mail, riding at least 3 days/week into city. learning how to ride in the morning in the dark, in traffic, to work, and (unfortunately now), back home again in the dark (as it is heading toward winter now).

10 Wheels,

Thx for the hello. I use a blinking white strobe up front, solid large red light I mounted on a bracket to rear pannier bracket. I also wear a red blinking red strobe on either my backpack or lately on my helmet. Thought being, one red light a little higher up in car driver's face. I've quit trying to cut through field trails (on 27 X 1 1/4) in Belgium, even tho they keep trails open, in the dark, you never know when your coming into a puddle, hole, etc (in the dark). I do not use the front light to see with, just want me "seeable" to car traffic.

Looks as if you got it figured out.
I have my Dinnotte tail light mounted up High for the same reason.
