My wrench is too big (width wise) to remove a kona jack (insert s word for feces here) pedals. Anyone know the measurement so I can go buy a wrench so I can remove them myself?

Standard pedal wrench spanner/wrench thing is 15mm, also i think they can also run 9/16" but in all likelyhood 15mm will do ya.
oops..is 9/16"th equilvalent to 15mm i wonder...its like a .02 inch disparity...yea i have no idea.

For the communist caliper 14.2875 mm- 9\16 inch.
12.7mm-1\2 inch.

Those are the 'normal' spindle diameters I posted.
Some need a thin wrench, but usually a 9/16 mouth.
On the web it said 9/16, lose the adjustable wrench, prob too wide.

Ive normal jacksh17. The area that your wrench grabs onto is only 1/4 wide! That's what I meant. And its the length of the chord, not the diameter! Lemme post a pic. Hold on.

Some pedals will accept a 6mm allen wrench on the back side (end of spindle) of the crank. As for a wrench, Snap-On makes one thin enough to fit between the crank and pedal.

Get a spanner, 5mm wide and a 9\16 jaw.
Spanners and ring spanner (on one end) are way easier on bolts, never slip.
Worth getting a set as you will use them a zillion times in your life. Car mechanics, bikes everything.
You need a metric and standard set (Think about asking parental units for X-mas, Sears craftsmans set or something. Or buy a set for Pop X-mas and just use 'em all the time.)

Use a 15mm pedal wrench. Only use the right tool. Don't try using a 9/16" wrench that just sort of fits. It can slip, and you can get hurt. (think about that big chainring). Most store bought wrenches won't fit between the pedal body and the crank arm. Use a pedal wrench. I've had success with a Snap-On 15mm wrench, but those are expensive and somewhat hard to buy.
