It's a buddy of mines and I'm trying to buy it from him. It seems prices vary widely depending on a lot of factors... he doesn't have any pics...

My read of the serial number is: 59cm built in April of '89
Check out www.waterfordbikes.com (http://www.waterfordbikes.com) for Paramount history.

hmmm, the pricing on the 89 seems to be very hit or miss... seeing some near 400 some up to 1000.... odd...

Late '80s Paramounts don't have a lot of "vintage" yet so that is part of the reason for a variation in price. Plus along with the Waterford built bikes, there were Asian imported Paramounts also on the market. IMO, this brings down the price. Also, IMO, this makes a very nice bike, more affordable! It's a win-win.

Information on the bike is here.
Valuation information is on Bike Forums, look for the C&V value inquiries thread under the C&V thread.
No valuation makes a whit of difference until an offer is made or a price is demanded. After that, it's all up to buyer and seller.
Sellers want the upper end, buyers want the bottom.
No pictures, no way to tell the value, could be for the frame only and could be a pristine all-OEM bike.
