Hi, after about a month of thinking about it and reading endless webpages of information I finally bought a bike four weeks ago and have been commuting to work ever since. I started out just wanting to get a bit fitter and get more fresh air but I am already compleatly addicted.... not to mention feeling an unnatural love for my bike:) All I have to deal with now is the groans of my girlfriend everytime I say I'll ride and meet her somewhere instead of going along in the car;)

Anyway, I look forward to reading the reams of information here and riding ever more!

Now you can hop onto "The Aussie Thread" in the "road cycling" section, and talk crap all day instead of working, like we do :D
