Mountain Biking - Have you seen this?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

And to think, no peeling blue tape, awesome.
That dude is on a different planet.
I enjoy all sports and many athletes, but this kid is different, Nolan Ryan, John Elway, Michael Jordan and Tyson zippered up in one suit.
Stunning! Had not seen that one yet; thanks.
MacAskill, Leech, Perrizio, Holm . . . all beyond my comprehension.

Gotta love those rock walk drop-ins. Reminds me of '80s BMX street riding.

This guy is my hero, for real. When mountain views & sunsets won't do it for me, I look to Danny MacAskill to remind me that there's beauty in the world. He even has 'skill' in his name. How cool is that? This guy is a freakin' ninja on his bike. He'd have Bruce Lee scratching his head going "where the f.." & the BAM, he's right there behind him on his bike..with ninja stars.

Couldn't agree more. Just didn't take the time to come up with an appropriate weapon.

after watching that video i went to youtube. I watched about 900 videos of the redbull sponserd stuff. I actually drove to the gas station just to get a red bull! then i drove back to work and watched more videos while drinking my red bull.

Two things that should not make it through the MTB vB forum filter...anything related to Lance Armstrong or Twitter.

I agree, too. Let's keep the conversation confined to who has the best weed and tearin' up the gnar, bro's.

Well I know I'm not tearin' up the gnar quite like the pros here, but I've got some Headband & Ice Cream strands to celebrate my promotion. So there's something.

I must be getting old.....what does this mean?

Well first off, I meant to say "strains", not "strands". Typo on my part. But these are both strains of a product many members of this forum seem to enjoy. Headband gives one the feeling of literally wearing a headband. Quite a trip. Ice cream got its name for not only being covered in trichomes (giving it a white appearance), but more so because it tastes like vanilla ice cream. Very pleasant after a good day on the trails.
^^ You should feel very fortunate that Pete Fagerlin is not a regular on this forum any more. Last kid who made brags about weed (in that case it was selling it) found his real name, his town and his school revealed here, plus an invitation to share all the information about the youngster's illicit activities with the school's headmaster.

I never said anything about weed. I was referring to a plant soft enough to wear as a headband, that I nicknamed 'Headband' (I believe the common name is 'Lamb's Ear'), & a vanilla plant that reminds me so dearly of ice cream. So I just call it 'Ice Cream' for fun. Does no one else turn to botany after a long day on the trails? I thought this was quite common..
And anyway, I have nothing to prove. My only asset is my job, & I've proven myself to be an outstanding, law-abiding citizen twice in the last 3 months, one of which was just last Monday. I may enjoy life, but I'm not stupid.

It means you need to find a better dealer...one with the good ish.
I'm not stupid.
That kid that Pete netcopped was, though. In that case I suspect that it wasn't really about the weed.

I try not to mention my personal information on a forum where I'm quite guilty of what is now considered 'cyber-bullying'. May even have to change my location just to be on the safe side. It's easy to forget that the internet can be dangerous in more ways than one.

+1
were is that thread?? i HAVE to read it!Looked for it earlier but can't find it. VBulletin's new search engine sucks mightily. That, and some of Pete's old usernames have been 'nonpersoned' - - so the search couldn't pick up on it if it wanted to. It was a classic though.

I remember that one. It will live on in our memories.
I think Pete even found a screen cam pic capture and posted that. I think he even had the school name and the principal's name.
If I remember correctly, the kid wanted to use his savings to do a trafficking deal with a buddy to make a quick profit.
