Training & Nutrition - Traveling...where to find places to workout?
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I'm going to be traveling to work soon to lots of locations, and I want to find an easy way to identify potential gyms, trails for walking/running and cycling routes. Does anyone know of a good resource that will let me do this without having to google search each location? I know of at least one website where I can search routes from other users (as well as track my workouts etc. etc.) but I was hoping for a more central search that would help me find gyms etc. also. Anything like that available out there?

I normally check the Garmin site http://connect.garmin.com/explore
You can enter the location ZIP and find tracks on a map view where runners/cyclists have used Garmin GPS enabled watches.

For bike routes, bikely.com is excellent. I'm a Golds member, so I have free access to all Golds gyms and find them through Golds.
