I contacted a "local" dealer who is selling Catrikes close to where I live. Basically as soon as the latest Speed arrives, I'm going on a road trip to test ride it and 99.99% buy it. I'll hopefully get a chance to test ride a Road as well too, but we shall see. Keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for it to arrive within a couple of weeks. :D :D :D

Looking forward to a report. Catrike certainly seems a value price leader. The
neck support might be worth investigating. If you peruse the usenet group available on google under "alt.rec.bicycle.recumbent(s)" there was a feisty poster who rides
trikes year around from your "general" area that posted under a variety of pseudonyms, last of which was "Just Zis guy you know". Noise level has been a lot higher on arbr for the past few yrs so info content is down. Steve

One of the guys in the cycling club i belong to has a Catrike Road. He has made the front chain rings a quad unit. Yes, that's four rings! The biggest is 60T and I have no idea what the smallest one is. I know it is little though. He has some sort of mount on it for his GPS which he uses for his navigation and cycling stats. He really flies on that trike! I'll bet you are going to enjoy yours!

The headrest looks pretty easy to fabricate all on your own. A cheap short MTB stem and some 1 1/8 aluminum t-bar with some cushioned foam around it. I know someone who can mitre and weld the tubes together for me too. We shall see. I am pretty excited about just seeing one in the flesh and getting my hands on one after checking them only on line for the past few weeks. I can hardly wait until I hear from the dealer. :D
