Mountain Biking - The Yatesy's back and looking GOOD.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Wahoo ! It's back. New chainstay and upper pannier boss followed by a bead blasting and multi-coat baked on paint job. Gotta start saving for all the new stuff it needs...

Hi Astra,
She's looking good matey! I think I might have asked you before, but what kit are you putting on her again?
Cheers
Rich
Hi Rich,
Yup, she's looking like an absolute peach :). I'm gonna go Deore XT all the way including V-brakes, Mavic x517 silver rims and double-butted Wheelsmith spokes, Pace front hub, Hope titanium skewers, Answer Hyperlite bars, Salsa stem, X-lite seatpost, Specialised Pro saddle and for training, Specialized Nimbus Armadillo 1.5" road tyres.
In the next year or so, I really, really want to fit some of the 63mm travel PACE forks :p .
Sounds good mate!
I love my Salsa stem to bits, but have gone the A-head way... Hyperlite bars eh?...they're a blast from the past....I accidently crushed mine by putting on a pair of barends on too tight
Check out Ebay for all your goodies, you'd be surprised what you can find on there!
Best wishes
Rich
I'm thinking of replacing the Hyperlites, they are SOOO light that I don't trust the aluminium not to have fatigued over the 6-7 years they've been in the garage .
