Jackasses.
Sorry, but the latest and greatest crowd makes up a too sizable percentage of "cyclists". There's nothing I hate more than trying to go out for a leisurely ride with the wife on a trail and have to deal with all of the lycra and an aero bar cyclists. There's always too many guys (and a few gals) that are out to pull a PR on multi-use paths. My thought process is that if you want to go fast, get out there with the cars.

...trying to get somewhere on a bike. Honestly, though, since most of my bike riding is for transportation to either the workplace, the store, or the city pool, most cyclists I see are doing the same. It's kind of rare that I see cyclists who are obviously (that is, clad in Lycra and riding the coooolest bikes) riding for sport. But they'd be out on the long, continuous streets like Hines Drive.

Really. Think about how many cyclists are now buried underground since the invention of the hiwheel!
And we will be too, someday! So get out there and ride until you can no longer do so!

I was listening to it on vinyl as played by the Beatles when I read his original comment. It just fit so well... Who knew, that John and Paul were competitive cyclists who trained on MUPs?

Don't know how to use DT shifters..........And don't have to ride their bicycles to school through 6 feet of snow during the winter months with just pine cone nuts and icicles that they pick up along the way for lunch everyday......:p
