$250? Probably yes. I was going to say $225 in Tampa but the west coast seems to bring higher prices.

Thanks, i did a lot of research and it sounded like an ok price. I'm going to try to get the price down to 225.

It seems to be in decent shape, if it fits you go for it. It's not a "real" Paramount made in Waterford, i THINK yours was made in the Mississippi plant that Schwinn foolishy broke the bank building, and once they got all the bugs worked out a couple years later, shut down and switched to overseas production. Just be sure there's plenty of seat tube under the seatpost clamp, the earliest aluminum frames used a seatpost with an internal clamp (like an old quill headset) that would eventually fail if not monitored closely, and there was not sufficient seat tube poking out above the top tube to securely mount a traditional external clamp. On closer look, you have a later "improved" frame, the seatpost clamp is fine.

+1 Not a Paramount, really misleading ad IMHO. It has the model number right on it: "354". This is one of the aluminum frame models of Schwinn. Myself, I am not a big fan of these bikes, and the components are nothing special. All in all, probably worth the $225 mark, but is it what you want?

This bike is a 1991 354, which is the lowest bike in that aluminum frame product line. Fortunately, it is the only one with a standard seat post, a huge plus (funny the higher end bikes in this product line have the impossible to find and hard to adjust quill seat post).

Schwinn closed the Greenville plant October 1991 (Chicago plant closed in 1982).

If I was looking for a Paramount, on a budget, I would look for one of the Asian steel models. I have a Series 3 (made in Taiwan) and a Series 5 (made in Japan). Bought the Series III earlier this year, off ebay, delivered to my door, for $230, in fantastic condition.
