My Gutterball was my first fixed gear-capable, but I rode it single speed until recently. This '74 Favorit is my first fixed gear, built and rode as such.

my first fixed:thumb: i still have it, but i need to get a bigger chainring, its geared too low for me.

I am not sure to this day... I got it from my LBS and I think it's a touring frame the 80's. I really miss the chrome though.

still have the bike, although many many parts have been swapped and etc. Rode with a brake when I had that gearing; I think I must have taken this picture before I put it on though? Idk, its been a while and my memory is terrible...

got mine free. every year our campus co-op has a "light the night" event and pass out free lights to all bikers :D woot!

This was my first street FG bike for winter training, before I turned it into a stationary indoor trainer. At the time it had fenders and generator lights and the gearing was 50 x 22 on a suicide hub. The frame is a Puch Cavalier that I bought in 1983 with the crank from this kid for $15. My first genuine track bike is a 1976 Schwinn Paramount P14 that I still have and currently I use to ride the rollers.

All I have is a wrinkled printout of it in all of its glory. Rampar conversion, no brakes or foot retention (learned my lesson quick when I couldn't stop going down my first steep hill), ghetto hub with welded cog/freewheel assembly.

Got jumped and the bike was taken, never to be seen again. Feel bad for the poor asshat that thought they were getting away with something special.

its a great looking build, i really like the frame's paint and the components and their colors are all well chosen. the red spokes really set it off, good job!
