i couldnt resist it when i seen it on craigslist, so as a late b-day present i went to san francisco and picked up my new used pista, (along with a chrome hip bag and cell holster) and had a hella good time riding around the city:D as soon as i got it i changed the pedals, and flipped the stem. when i got it home i pulled the brake off and changed the cog to a 17 and got to cleaning, it came out very nice. i just love the deda track drops!:thumb:

Yup, gangrene, we'll have to amputate I'm afraid. Don't worry it won't hurt, if we didn't just run out of anesthetic.

just looks like your normal, run of the mill, stock bianchi pista to me
Money would have been better spent on a newer tv.
Nothing wrong in owning something you like. Its your money, spend it as you wish and dont let any of these jackasses say anything different.

i bought my tv at an auction back in '07 for $14 and it works great! id rather have another bike than a new tv.

Was about to quote the post and saw this. Images need to be SFW, oh yea . . .
Yes, some aspects of the thread are silly, but sharing excitement about a new bike is encouraged, no?

Yes they are.
Wrong. Sorry.

Ah, thank you for the explanation screenshot; I didn't quite understand why Scrod was posting a picture that said "No Brains."

a thread for a new bike is something along the lines of 'scored rare limited edition pink fillet brazed nagasawa with chrome lugs and 3 seatposts' and not 'bought a pista on craigslist, yay'

for someone who doesnt like my thread, you still take the time to read the responses and give your worthless opinion more than once! sorry my pista doesnt meet your standards, but some people like what they like if you are so butthurt by another pista thread you could just not read the post.

He may not have brains, but he's got a point.
oh grow up killemall.
it's just a thread.
the only reason it's gone on for 40 posts is that dude already has like five other bikes just like it, so it's a little silly that he bought this and not something more varied.

i felt my first post was not insulting you in any way, nor was my second. 'ill pass' and explaining why nobody thinks this is worth its own thread is not negative. you just interpreted it wrong.
& i never said your pista was bad, but its honestly nothing special. do you know how cluttered this forum would be if everyone with a pista (or 3) made a new thread?
'butthurt'. great vocab. i'm out, didn't mean to derail your obviously superior thread.

Here in coastal MA it's been a nightmare. Cold, windy, rainy and snow on the way. The wife and I are thinking of moving west after the winter.
