I've just returned from my 4th trip to visit my daughter who married a lad from, and lives in, St. Albans.
One of the big differences from Vancouver is the space roads provide for it's users.
Vancouver area cycling advocates don't know how good they have it. I constantly hear that roads need to be wider here and when I see how cyclists and motorists manage with roads so much smaller there than what we have here, I just think we're a bunch of spoilt brats.
If we had less room here, maybe everyone would drive a bit slower and co-operate with each other a bit more.
