Yahoo has a story on a robot convention in Japan (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=569&u=/nm/20020329/tc_nm/tech_japan_robodex_dc_1), one of the pictures they feature, is a robot on a bike.

I have no idea what it could be used for, but it looked neat! :)

I think it's a nice demonstration of dynamic balancing, and it may provide additional insights into bicycle balancing.
