I'm new to this board but I recognize a few names from another board that I used to really like but is getting a little overwrought ( I will leave it there).
I live in DC but was raised in upstate NY (Woodstock), not to far from "Devil's Kitchen" -- old guys like me will remember that from the Tour De Trump/Du Pont. I will be 40 very soon and have been road riding since 16. I rode competitively in college, got through grad school working as a bike courier in NYC then DC. I commute to and from work on a fixie. I own three other bikes but my pride is a Bridgestone RB-1, the holy grail of a retrogrouch (such as myself). I am currently shopping for another bike hope to get it soon.
Thanks for listening

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
