Mountain Biking - how do I tell if my SRAM XO Rear Derailleur is med short or long cage?

if the pulleys look like they are almost touching, it's a short cage.

C_Heath, I can give you measurements on shimano long, medium, and short cages if you think it'll help.

Thats steeper than it looks.....and that guy has a power bar in his left hand. I think he has a short cage helet on as well.
Fine, I'll post something useful...SRAM X0 short cage derailleur pulleys are 2 1/4" apart (center to center).
