Time to make some room in the guest bedroom., so about 20 frames have to go.

I thought I would start with the oddities, if I could figure out a value on them
or even just some approximate dates on these frames.

Now, granted the clamp on the toptube lug is a bit strange, but I cannot see anything wrong with the lug. there are no obvious cracks.

This Gitane Racing Team in Reynolds 531 has clearly seen better days, but it still strikes me as a very cool looking frame.

The clamp on the blue Alan looks like the remnants of a pump peg...The Concorde is hecka sexy. Love the neon fade. If it was smaller you'd have a pm from me right now.

Now THAT is very clever. I hadn't thought of it and ... it makes perfect sense given that peg sticking out there. Good eye. Thanks!

I was thinking the same thing "I hope this a pump peg"

if you can stretch the Gitane out a 59/60ish we'll talk LOL

PF this also give me an idea for some pegless frames

I too have a 531 gitane with simplex all the way and fully original very much like yours a true 70's bike that's for sure.

A nice bike with overall nice simplex parts and lovely darkblue color with some sparkles in them wich is a fantastic combination with the yellow decals all over the frame.

Yes, the rear dropouts are very special and i love them just because they are so diffirent.

Sadly thought they don't bring in any cash despite being a 531 frame.

Hi pstock,

How much do you intend to sell your 'Early Concorde Alura all aluminum frame and forks' please?

Can you ship to Singapore?

Best regards,
Roger
