Hey.
I got off school early so me and my mates decided to build a few jumps and ride with our mountain bikes - They were cool jumps but when we decided to swap bikes (not a good idea when jumping big), I went for some massive air and totally lost it flew over the bars in a sort of sideways endo if that is possible and my mates bike landed right on my head then smashed itself onto the ground. The bike's back wheel was completely rooted which I was really pissed off because it wasn't my bike oh well its at the bike shop now. And well now I'd better stop typing cause my arm is hurting heaps!

Anyone else here break a friends bike?
my site is http://www.geocities.com/nothing4130

Yikes, its all fun and games untill you break your best friends ride... I have never killed a friends ride, but i did have a friend taco my front wheel to the point where he bought me a new one just 2 hours after i bought my mountain bike, i was soooo ticked off for a few days, but its all good, he paied for what he did :)

don't know about anybody else here, but i'll never let anyone ride my bike for more than a minute. for some reason, too, they all seem to want to skid my tires... why is that so cool to do? where is the fascination in it??? i mean, that tread is what keeps me safely stuck to the pavement/dirt!

One time, i felt like purposely ramming this one guy's rear wheel because he tried to do a one-eighty bunnyhop on my mtb(inconsiderate bmx rider). He didn't potato chip my wheel, but he put a hop in it... some people just don't understand.

my advice is, don't let anyone else ride your bike... they probably have no idea how dearly you love your bike... it may not be the best, butcha gotta love whatcha got.

... even the closest of friends should never, ever, EVER try to come between a man and his all-terrain-machine. it's just not a healthy idea.
