Do you have one? Which one? Worth it or not?
Someone would like one for Christmas and I'm not sure if it's the way to go. Then again a library card is free.
Comments?
I've been looking at them, and so far the only one I've ruled out is the Kindle. I don't want to be stuck
having to use Amazon's proprietary format books. I know the Nook (Barnes & Noble) will take e-ink files, PDF, etc.
I've looked at the color version (runs Android OS) its okay but I don't really need color,
I do like the back light feature on that, the B&W ones require a light for night time reading.
I like the idea of carrying 1500 books on the 2gig included memory,
add in a 16gig SD card and you cab have up to 13,500 books.

I was looking at Nook Color too and I think you get one free book a week, on Fridays. Plus you can share books too, whereas the Kindle you cannot. They say that the "print" is easier to read.
I never saw one in person, I really should go check it out. But $250 is a lot.
I did side by side compares (at B&N) and didn't think the font on the Nook was that much harder to read than the
Color. I figure the $100 extra for the color would by a lot of books and batteries for a book light.
One of the things that sold me on the nook is the fact you can download books to your Nook that
aren't from B&N and they will still be in the archive. If you loose your Nook or it's damaged etc. you don't have to buy the books again
as long as you're downloading to a new Nook.
