It's nice to see the older EVGlobal bikes evolving into the newer lithium battery bikes.

Has, or does anyone know if the battery pack will work in the older 24/36v EVG bikes?

Sounds like a great Update to the older bikes.....or, maybe it's because I have two 36v's & one 24V EV Global bikes that run on the old LEAD batteries. :-))

1/14/11 Update....turns out it works GREAT! It's a simple matter to unscrew the lower contact in the 24/36V bikes & attached a + & - wire from a "computer" plug, which plugs into the Ultra Motors Europa Phy-lion Battery pack.

Rick @ Javalina cycle in AZ kindly donated a barely working battery box, though I bought the charger ($40) required from him. The trick now is to be able to find the ten Phy-lion 1/2"x4"x6" cells to freshen up this battery pack.

I've also bought the brake levers, throttle w/key, & 36V controller from a Ultra Motors Callisto from Rick, to try on the EV Global 24V bikes to upgrade the two I bought. Stay tune......
