Hullo all,
I've been a long time rider of wheeled things. Started off on an awesome Hobie wooden skateboard sporting clay/exposed ball bearing wheels.
My 1st bicycle was a 3 speed army green Raleigh w/ Sturmey Archer stuff (also rode an orange Schwinn Stingray with massive center shifter and banana seat), then a Gitane 10-speed, Schwinn Mag Scrambler, more 10-speeds...
I bought a BMW StreetCarver skateboard in 2001 (the 1st year they came out) which I still go bombing on.
~14 years ago I got a PBW folding FS mountain bike (still going strong). Got into MTB riding the past few years. Started on 26er's and acquired two 29er's last year: '09 Fuji Tahoe SL and an '09 Turner Sultan.
I ride trails 2x per week (as often as time permits with 2 teens in the house). Lots of great places to ride in the DC metro area.
Noodle- why you might ask? I stick to things like a wet noodle or SLUG... don't come off my bicycle easy whilst bashing, bombing, churning, crashing, cruising, hucking, mashing or thrashing :D
