Hi there,

I'm John Kenney hailing from the UK where I'm currently launching my brand new design RIDO bicycle saddle to rave reviews!

Eight years in the making, the RIDO saddle's unique shape and construction effectively redistributes the downward pressure of the rider's weight away from that oh so sensitive perineum (crotch) and onto the buttocks.

It does this so well in fact that we've had countless lifelong cycling enthusiasts, who have been rendered unable to continue cycling following prostrate cancer operations, rekindle their cycling pleasure to the tune of 30 to 50 miles a day!

Enough said..... just have a look at the website, www.rido-cyclesaddles.com.

Cheers readers!

John (RIDO)

it looks way to wide for me. I am overweight still and my crotch would get rubbed raw.

I think you should send one to someone on this forum to test and write a review. How about me? I've been riding regularly since 1987 and currently ride about 4000 miles per year. Send me an e-mail or private message.

Yes, an independant review would be nice. The design looks intrigueing to say the least. A bit wide, but who knows.

I found groove nose saddles to be fine though.

John,

I have been thinking about one of these saddles since seeing it in cycling news. After checking out your web site, I've decided to take a chance and order one of your seats. I've been suffering through a B17, a Bontrager race, and finally a Selle Trans Am and it would REALLY be great if your seat works as advertised. My nether regions always seems to give out before my lungs or legs, so I'm looking forward to riding the Rido. By the way, is it pronounced reye-do or ree-do? Thanks!

Have a B-17 that you don't like? Want to sell it? Contact me and let's talk!

DAVET,
How're you getting on with your R-eye-D-oh saddle?

Don't wish to get personal, Steve, but how 'overweight'? Our heaviest RIDO fan here in the UK is over 30 stone.... that's 420lbs !! (see: http://www.rido-cyclesaddles.com/content.php?categoryId=18 )

I'd like to test it out, too. I'm using a Spongie Wonder, which is nice, but not the total package. I was thinking about getting one... but I don't know how it'll work.

I ordered one. It rocks. Never ride another saddle again.

If anyone has received a free saddle, you should be writing a review!

I'll be happy to review the saddle :D

John,

Ok I'll bite. How comfortable is this for a non overweight cyclist?
I have been Brooks fan for quite a while. Find a B17 more comfortable
than a Team Pro.

all of you have perked my interest. I've got a Specialized Body Geometry stock saddle that came on my Allez. But if this is as good as it seems to be......

waiting on that review!

I just ordered one today. My perinium kills after about 30-40 minutes in the saddle. I am riding a Specialized Alias now on my tri-bike. I just bought a Seven Axiom custom Ti which is now being built. I am hoping the better position will help the pain- but for $17 I'll give it a try. I'll post a review after I get it.
