Popular 20" bike in Asia and growing in Europe. Its NOT a folder.

But it shares many of the same advantages. Watch this cool video and decide! :)

I understand but a rigid frame provides a compliant ride. And its still compact enough to be tossed in a car trunk or stored away in a closet.

a minivelo is something different but similar to a folder. I have both, and love both for different reasons. Minivelos are the future, and I want more to be sold in the UK.

Are these in the video available in the US ?

In the US, Sillgey (http://www.sillgey.com/), has the Piccolo. Good geometry, good ride.

They're prototype models for testing... if and when BD is ready to bring them to the market, they'll make an announcement to that effect.

I have the one from Big Shot Bikes.

I agree. How about this?

Same geometry, same wheel size but it folds (and rolls)

Dynocoaster, I'll get around to it. What I can say is as has been demonstrated on this forum is compact size (folded or not) and small wheels make for a good riding bike :)

In the US...

...Dahon has offered their Shark series (Bullhead, Hammerhead, Silvertip, Smooth Hound) of mini velos for a couple years now. Cannondale has the Hooligan.
