Just wanted to introduce myself and say thank you for all the help I've received from the C&V forum. I'm new to road cycling, I love to (try to) wrench on my own bikes, and I love steel. I still have tons to learn, but I'm having fun and enjoy the interaction here.

The first Tri that I went to watch, 5 swimmers had to be pulled from the water.

The one I was in was very beginner friendly- they had pool noodles that people could use if they needed them. I used one for part of the way and was glad for it.
