I got my wife the all carbon version. She loves it. All Ultegra. The thing weighs out at 18 lbs with cages, bottles and pedals. Paint job is sweet and the build quality seems good. The last charity ride we did together she got all compliments, and my IF full Chorus got the snub. Cheez! :( I'm looking at the CX frame for a winter project.

Anything new on Blue Competition Cycles? I live outside of Atlanta and they are assembled here. They look great and have a good value. The RC-4 (full carbon frame) with full Ultegra 9 is only $1,900. But still don't know much about them; ride, warranty, customer service, etc. Any help?

Just e-mailed the company and they responded to say that they have a 5 year warranty on frame and fork.

Do you know where the Outside World is near the outlet malls in Dawsonville?

There is a small bike shop there and the owner knows the sales rep for Blue very well. His wife races on the Genesis team the bike was built for. The rep actually previously raced the bike as well.

They would be a good resource for you. If I hadn't bought a Litespeed in the Fall, I would have bought the Blue if I had only seen it earlier.

I can prob. find their Phone number if you want...

Yes, I have actually been to the shop and I agree that they are very nice and helpful; but still don't know much about the company or quality of the bike. Have you actually ridden the bike or have just seen it?
