General Cycling Discussion - The job in Idaho is legit, check out www.sawtoothadventure.com

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I apologize if people felt my job posting was Spam(as you guys call it), but it is entirelly legit. I am looking for someone who is willing to ride the shuttle on a bike to be my shuttle driver, what better way to contacr die-hard cyclist than in internet forum. It is where riders are during the day dreaming and talking to others with similar interests, while they dream of peddaling. Myself an avid fat tire rider would do it myself, but runnig a business seems to take all my time, imagine that. In the past I have completed the shuttle via hitch-hiking, or involving another vehicle and driver (which gets very expensive at the end of my season). By using a rider, one person can do the job.

To prove my legitimacy I ask that all inquiries send a resume/work experience and/or references. They must be over 21 and have a clean driving record.

So for all of you who think I am not for real, those willing to check it out may end up in Stanley getting paid to ride!

Cheers,
Jared Hopkinson

I accept that, there is always a grey area with spam and someone who is legit. Can I just ask one question though, why did you find it necessary to post this in three different forums? That, plus the total absence of any other posts, was what convinced me this post was spam initially, and one of the best things about this site is it's strict anti-spam policy.

I posted in three different forums to hopefully find the audience I was looking for. I am obviously new to the site and wanted to make sure road cyclist saw the ad. How do I know people look at all the forums, I though road cyclist would look at general and road specific.

Why are you so quick to attack others before finding out the facts?

Cheers,
Jared

Jared your right, I dont look at the road forum because i'm a mountain biker, but i think everybody looks at general discussion, so next time u should just post it in there only:D

Not a problem Jared, each and every community is different, theres always a learning period when contacting a new group. Thats why we have guidelines, one of the guidelines is spamming, "Spamming is the multiple posting of an identical or similar post on one or more of our Forums." Its not really welcomed around here ;)

I hope one of the members, or one of the hundreds of lurkers here will email you about the offer, sounds like fun.
