Skinny Cross tires

Anyone have any recommendations on skinny (700x20-25) and high-pressure (100+) tires with lots of tread? Cool colors would be another plus.

What exactly are you trying to do with that tire, ride on pavement with a little dust on it? What exactly are you trying to do with these tires- commute, cyclocross, look cool, or...

skinniest cross tires I've seen are 28s. They used to make skinnier ones but they were tubies. You could try the Vittoria clinchers (ni their feraky green).

What is hardcore commuting? What is the surface?

A minimal tread 90-100psi will do you better on pavement/rough pavement that a high pressure knobbie
knobbies are really only good for compliant surfaces - dirt, grass, etc.
lower pressures (above pinch flat pressure) are better for rough surfaces

If your mainly on pavement, i would stay away from high pressure knobbies unless you like going high speed into corners like your riding marbles. For my commuter I run the Vittoria Randonneur tires, big fat slicks (they say 700/35 but they look bigger), with double sheild flat protection. Not light at all but you can even run them at lower pressure on the bumpy stuff. just a thought

Randonneaur Cross 700x28 are not bad but if they see mud, you are in for it.
