Hi, i am looking for a new mountain bike to do a little urban assualt and trail riding with. The Norco Wolverine is a bike recomended to me, and after some research i found that it's not exactly what i'm looking for. I later found the norco sidewinder, and screamer very affordable dual suspension bikes. I would prefer a norco but if anyone has any other suggestions let me know. The reason i am writing is to gather information on the screamer and sidewinder, along with any other norco. The scrambler, and bushpilot ect. Any help would be appreciated.

Well, i went to the norco site, and looked at the screamer and sidewinder.....and they look like the wal-mart special. I would really NOT recommend those bikes, they will probably break the instant u ride them, not to mention they have CRAPPY components!!!

At that price point you are far better off buying a rigid or a hardtail. Don't be tempted by the looks.

Actually, I'd look for a used bike since you can get a really good bike for a really good price but you do need to be careful.

Just curious, are you in the States or Canada?

Since you are in Canada you might want to look at Kona. It is what most people ride out here exclusively and the bike is Canadian. As for which Bike to pick the Caldera is a good hard tail at 1200$ as well as the stuff which is 100$ cheaper. :)

I have never really liked Norco though so I can be a bit biased.
