Got it for $70. It's the 160mm not U-Turn model, 1.5" steerer. Couple scratches on the lowers, but other than that, it looks to be in great condition. Stanchions are perfect, seals are good, etc. Steerer tube is a little short, but is long enough for my purposes. I just put in the lightweight coil spring, and just need to get a wheel that fits.

Aaand I paid attention to the frame and nothing else. Apparently there's a 1.5 to 1-1/8 headset in there, so I'll have to switch out the headset and stem too. Am I missing anything else?
Very cool find!
Dang, a couple weeks ago I'd have been willing to buy that reducer headset off you in a heartbeat.

Ah, bad timing.
Looks like the project has moved out of quick fix territory and into "I don't own the tools for this at home" territory. Guess it's time to stop by the bike shop.

Alright, so headsets are something I haven't really messed with in the past and know next to nothing about. I just called the shop and they don't have any 1.5s in stock. Is there a good way to figure out if a headset will fit my bike? For example, will this headset (http://cgi.ebay.com/FSA-Orbit-Xtreme-Pro-1-5-Threadless-Headset-Blk-NEW-/300388961911?pt=Cycling_Parts_Accessories&hash=item45f093ce77) fit this bike (http://www.jamisbikes.com/usa/thebikes/pdfs/09_komodo1.pdf)? Or am I better off going to the shop and asking them to order me something? Thanks guys.

I like Cane Creek headsets for no good reason other than they're the best I've used.
