I started riding at the beginning of June this year for the first time since I graduated High School. It was really slow going for me. At the end of the first month I had only accumulated 60 miles. By the end of the third month I had just achieved 200 miles...

As of this mornings ride I have now accumulated 1,005.6 miles so far this year!

In the beginning the limiting factor was how far/long I could ride before becoming exhausted, now the limiting factor is I only have about an hour a day to ride which at my current speed means about 10 miles... Even if this doesn't improve I am on pace to nearly triple this years mileage, next year! Which I think will be one of my goals for 2011.

Thank you! What amazes me more than anything is how much I enjoy the "exercise" Six months ago I would have thought that impossible...

Great job. Soon enough you will figure out ways to sneak in more rides. Some commute, some get up earlier, some take the family along. Whatever works I guess, just keep it up.

Bravo! I started in September of 2011 and to date only have about 579.4 miles. But I've gone some weeks without being able to ride at all!

1000 miles is awesome though! Congrats!!!

About 579.4 miles? Are you sure it wasn't 579.5? LOL Ride as often and for as far as time allows. Mileage will add up.:50:
